CHELSEA midfielder Mikel Obi is considering leaving the club for the Chinese Super League in the summer. The 28-year-old is Chelsea’s second longest-serving player behind captain John Terry, and has won 10 major trophies with the Blues. A number of Blues<<
stars have recently been targeted by wealthy clubs in China.
Ramires left Chelsea to join Jiangsu Suning for £25m in January, while the club rejected offers for Oscar and Radamel Falcao. And the London Evening Standard on Tuesday claimed Chinese Super League clubs have now turned their attention to Mikel.
Jiangsu and Shanghai SIPG, who are coached by former England manager Sven Goran Eriksen, have both shown an interest in the Nigeria international, who is said to be considering his options.
Mikel, who has been at Stamford Bridge for a decade, has become a regular under interim boss Guus Hiddink and has missed just three games since the Dutchman replaced Jose Mourinho.

But his position in the starting XI could come under threat when, as expected, Antonio Conte arrives at the club in the summer.
